it makes sense to have a sign next to the river that runs through town telling people not to swim in it, but what about surfing in it? well, with a couple ropes clamped by some carabiners to something [?] under the water and the surrounding walls, surfing is possible via a standing wave, and so a sign that says, “No Surfing. Life danger” is necessary, which, of course, makes it a lot cooler for these risk takers. and there are a lot of them! after one hits the water, the next surfer is already jumping onto the standing wave, which is located behind a small bridge where the people of Munich race across to work, unless they’re like us, then they’re off to get ice cream!

very cool.
