Hector Olguin was born in Orange, California. His family latter moved to Stanfield, Arizona when Hector was in third grade. After starting at Brigham Young University, Hector served a mission in Brazil for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He later returned to Brazil to complete an internship for the Church Employment Center. 

Adelaide was born in Pasadena, California. She grew up in La Crescenta, California and in the surrounding valley and Los Angeles area. After studying political science and philosophy for a couple years at Brigham Young University, Adelaide studied film, history, literature, and the German language in Berlin, Germany. After returning, Adelaide decided to complete her degree in Philosophy. 

Adelaide and Hector met at Brigham Young University. They were married on April 26, 2008. After getting married, they moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where Hector interned in marketing for a division of Newell Rubbermaid. At the end of the summer, they moved back to Brigham Young University to complete their degrees.

Hector and Adelaide both love good food and traveling. They have traveled together across the United States twice and once to Mexico. They hope to continue traveling, meeting new people, visiting different cultures, and keeping you informed on their experiences.
